My experimentation with this super bulky waffley stitch is a success!
Behold my super cute Winter Flower Bandana!
Best of all, most of my friends who think that they don’t suit hats were super amazed that it looked so great on them too. Happiness overload 🙂
Let me know if this a of interest to you and we can certainly customise it to your taste.
Here’s a picture of me modeling it.
Call this something to do when it’s snowing and cold outside. It’s a chunky ribbed infinity scarf with tassels.
I used Lion Brand Thick & Quick yarn in the Raven colour.
I am loving the texture which the gray and bluish black is creating in this piece. I named it Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.
Now available on my @handmadewithyouinmind shop on Facebook. There’s only one and there will be only one.
If you’d love something like this but would like it in a different colour or with less tassels or with no tassels or even longer or shorter, let’s see what we can do together! Making this truly yours is what I would love to do. Simply drop me a line here or via my Facebook Page.
My first completed crocheted cowl.
Done with Lion Brand – Martha Stewart Lofty Wool Blend (75% wool / 25% acrylic) in Snowdrift (super bulky)
This crochet stitch is called the Griddle stitch. I learned it this weekend and I just love the texture it brings to chunky wool.
I feel that a great cowl with some chunky wooden buttons would best suit this stitch.
It’s in the works as we speak.
Here, I tried my hand at the pavement crochet stitch for the first time. Orange single crochet to finish it off.
Could be tighter.
Still happy with it though.
