My name is Josyan McGregor, and I am a Canadian-born self-taught artist, illustrator, and graphic designer based in Greenfield Park, a South-Shore suburb of Montreal. With a background in graphic design, I seamlessly blend digital techniques with traditional mediums to create abstract artwork and illustrations that capture the essence of my imagined landscapes and botanical scenes.

Drawing inspiration from my deep emotional sensitivity and introverted nature, I gravitate towards intuitive, textural creations that exude vibrancy and comfort. My work is a reflection of the interplay between hard and soft contrasts, expressed through a warm and inviting color palette that mirrors the spectrum of my emotional experiences—from moments of joy to those of pain and anxiety.

Whether working digitally on my iPad Pro with Procreate or incorporating Adobe CC tools to enhance my traditional pieces, I seek to evoke a sense of connection to nature and self-discovery through my art.
